PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum thermal insulation material in which a vacuum break is surely prevented.SOLUTION: A thermal insulation material 5 includes a core material 3 covered by outer cover sheets 6, 7. The core material 3 includes a plate-like body part 3b and a lug part 3a projecting from the body part 3b. Circumferential edge portions of the outer cover sheets 6, 7 are sealed. The lug part 3a is folded so that it overlaps the body part 3b and both ends of the lug part 3a in the longitudinal direction have roundness. The lug part 3a is folded back toward a bottom side of a core material receiving part 6a. |
