PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic head capable of reducing an oscillation drive voltage of a spin torque oscillator.SOLUTION: The magnetic head includes: a main magnetic pole; a spin torque oscillator; and an auxiliary magnetic pole. The spin torque oscillator includes: a spin injection layer; a nonmagnetic intermediate layer; and an oscillation layer. The spin injection layer has an artificial lattice film including: a first metal layer of a Heusler alloy; a second metal layer including at least one of platinum, palladium and nickel repeatedly, which are laminated two or more times, the first metal layer has a thickness of 0.3-3.5 nm. |
