PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeding device which inhibits the occurrence of abnormality such as folding, damage, and smudges of paper, and to provide an image formation device.SOLUTION: A paper feeding device 1 includes: a storage part 14 which stores paper; and a paper feeding part 142 which is disposed in the storage part 14 and feeds the stored paper in a predetermined paper feeding direction. The paper feeding part 142 includes: a rotation shaft member 1420 where its axial direction is perpendicular to the paper feeding direction; a paper feeding roller 1421 which is pivotally supported by the rotation shaft member 1420 and contacts with the paper stored in the storage part 14; and a protection member 1422 which is pivotally supported by the rotation shaft member 1420 and has a radius smaller than the paper feeding roller 1421. |
