PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steam turbine capable of reliably removing generated water droplets or water films in a circumferential direction.SOLUTION: A steam turbine 10 in an embodiment comprises: a moving blade 22 embedded in a turbine rotor 21 penetrating in a casing; a stationary blade 26 provided immediately on an upstream side of the moving blade 22 and constituting a turbine stage together with the moving blade 22; a diaphragm outer ring 23 provided inside the casing 20, having an annular extension part 24 surrounding a circumference of the moving blade 22, and supporting the stationary blade 26 from outside in a radial direction; and a diaphragm inner ring 25 supporting the stationary blade 26 from inside in the radial direction. Furthermore, the steam turbine comprises: an annular slit 40 formed on an inner face of the diaphragm outer ring 23 between the stationary blade 26 and the moving blade 22 in a circumferential direction; and plural communication holes 50 provided on an outer face of the diaphragm outer ring 23 in the circumferential direction, communicated with the annular slit 40 from an outer side, and communicated with an exhaust chamber for sucking water films via the annular slit 40. |
