The invention relates to a baby cot comprising a frame with a bassinet anchored thereto. According to the invention, at least one of the long side walls can be removed from the bassinet. The cot can be placed alongside a standard bed, such that the parents can easily see and access the bottom of the bassinet where the baby is lying, specifically through the side of the bassinet from which the side wall has been removed. The cot can be easily handled by an adult user, is versatile in the ways in which it can be arranged and offers simplicity of operation and components, thereby allowing a reduced competitive price for the market, and improving safety so as to prevent accidents, all while maintaining the solidity and reliability required of this type of cot. |
