QUANTITATIVE PRECIPITATION ESTIMATION SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREOF

The objective of the present invention is to provide a system and a method for estimating precipitation, capable of: classifying a precipitation type using other weather observation information (AWS, Lightening, KLAPS) as well as two-dimensional variable information obtained from single polarization radar, three-dimensional reflection synthesis results including volume scan information, and hybrid scan reflection materials; and estimating and correcting precipitation by each classified precipitation type, thereby more accurately estimating the precipitation.
