PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which conventionally, when many images similar in composition such as consecutively photographed images or a re-taken image are included, the number of images to be handled substantially increases.SOLUTION: An image selection device comprises: general control means that handles a plurality of images satisfying a predetermined condition as one image group; and selection means that selects at least one representative image for each image group.
