PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image correction apparatus capable of reducing noise components included in pixel values while suppressing blurs caused by an afterimage in a region where a moving object is shown and even in peripheral regions thereof.SOLUTION: An image correction apparatus 6 includes: a differential unit 11 calculating a differential absolute value between corresponding pixels of first and second images; a composition ratio calculation unit 13 calculating a composition ratio so as to set the composition ratio of the second image to the first image to be lower as larger the differential absolute value of each pixel in a filter region set around a pixel of interest of the first image is; and a composition unit 14 generating a corrected image by setting a value obtained by composing a value of the pixel of interest of the first image and a value of a corresponding pixel of the second image at the composition ratio of the second image to the first image for the pixel of interest as a value of a corresponding pixel of the corrected image. |
