摘要 <p>The method involves using an opto-electronic measurement path which is stationary w.r.t. a machine tool. The measurement path includes a photo diode which is irradiated with a light ray with an pulse-shaped sample frequency. A change of the irradiation at the measuring point on the photo diode from bright to dark, or vice versa, is caused by a movement of the coat line of the tool in the measurement path. The measurement is supplied to an evaluation unit, where it is processed with further measurements which are summed up to a test series. The measurement is performed in a selected number of revolutions approaching the operational number of revolutions, at which the measuring point is moved at an angle section of pref. 1 deg. , for each rotation of the tool. Only the maximum values of the measurements are further processed in the evaluation unit.</p>
