<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable multilayer ceramic electronic part by which enables the suppression of occurrence of crack in a ceramic elemental body owing to a thermal stress or a mechanical stress from the outside.SOLUTION: A multilayer ceramic capacitor has a structure in which external electrodes 5 are provided on a ceramic elemental body 10 having internal electrodes to be electrically connected with the internal electrodes. The external electrodes 5 has a wraparound portion 5x circled around from a side face of the ceramic elemental body 10; a concavity 15 having a depth of 1μm or more is provided in the wraparound portion. It is preferable that the depth of the concavity 15 is made 5μm or more. In addition, it is preferable that the size of the concavity 15 in a direction along a direction of the width of the side face of the ceramic elemental body 10 is made no less than one half of the width of the side face of the ceramic elemental body. Further, it is preferable that the concavity 15 is formed in a location apart from an end of the ceramic elemental body 10 toward the center thereof by no less than 50μm in a direction of its length.</p> |
