The invention relates to a tyre including a crown reinforcement consisting of at least two working crown layers of reinforcement elements. The tyre additionally includes, in each shoulder, at least one end of a layer of reinforcement elements, parallel to one another in the layer and positioned forming a circumference, said end being axially outward from said at least two working crown layers, the elements for reinforcing the carcass reinforcement having a diameter smaller than 1 mm and consisting of wires having a diameter strictly larger than 0.16 mm and, in a radial plane, the ratio between the thicknesses of the rubber mixture between the inner surface of the tyre cavity and the point of a metal reinforcement element of the carcass reinforcement closest to said inner surface of the cavity, of the two portions of the tyre profile, centred on the respective orthogonal projections, on the inner surface of the tyre cavity, of the axially outermost points of said additional layers, and of the portions of the profile of the tyre having the smallest thicknesses being larger than 1.15. |
