<p>A multi-contact male terminal (30) having a flat tab (31) contacting a plurality of contacts (22) in a multi-contact female terminal (10) provided with a plurality of resilient contact strips (20) deformable by bending, with contacts (22) of the plurality of resilient contact strips (20) being arranged in the width direction to form a multi-contact, wherein male terminal, the front ends of different parts in the width direction of the tab (31) are positioned with an offset in the length direction. The timing for contacting each contact (22) of the female terminal (10) is offset across the different parts in the width direction, therefore, the maximum insertion force for the terminal is reduced.</p> |
