PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hanging container for a volatilization agent in which the residue of the volatilization agent can be easily checked even in the condition of being hung on a bar with clothes etc. SOLUTION: The hanging container for the volatilization agent includes: a two-split container body 1 each piece of which is connected with each other openably and closably through a hinge 13, and the inside of which is a housing space for an insect-repelling sheet P that is the volatilization agent; a hook 2 which is connected to the container body 1 to hang and maintain the container body 1; and an indicator case 3 which is provided on a back part of the hook 2 and accommodates an indicator I for displaying the residue of the insect-repelling sheet P. The hanging container is an integrally formed body in which the container body 1, the hook 2, and the indicator case 3 are all connected, and the indicator case 3 has an engaging hook 32f which engages the indicator case 3, bent at a part connected with the hook 2 as a base point, with a sidewall part 2a of the hook.
