The present invention relates to a method for processing a contact list on a mobile terminal and a device thereof. According to the present invention, the method includes: a schedule analysis step of analyzing contact data included in schedule data when display of a contact list is detected; a contact list display step of rearranging the display positions of the members included in the contact list according to the contact data included in the schedule data and displaying the result; and a contact execution step of forming a communication link with members selected from the contact list and executing contact. Therefore, according to the present invention, only by executing a contact application where member data are displayed in a list, a user can easily check and manage the schedule.
