SOLUTION: The glass blanks 5 heated by heating means 6 having upper and lower heating blocks 11, 12; 13, 14 which are arranged in the positions facing the glass blanks 5 existing in a horizontal posture from above and below and are capable of exerting radiation heat to the glass blanks 5 are bend by a press machine 7 having upper and lower dies 30 and 31 formed in such a manner that the glass blanks 5 are held from above and below.
