<p>The present invention relates to a vehicle pattern generating method and a vehicle pattern detecting method using the same, and more particularly, to a vehicle pattern generating method in a cell of a predetermined size including: a horizontal line pattern which passes through the center of the cell with 1 pixel of thickness horizontally; a pair of horizontal patterns which are symmetrical to a horizontal center line, respectively; a pair of vertical patterns which are symmetrical to a vertical center line; a pair or several pairs of upper inclined patterns which are symmetrical to the vertical center line, mutually; and a pair or several pairs of lower inclined patterns which are symmetrical to the vertical center line. The upper inclined pattern and the lower inclined pattern are a pair of mutually symmetrical patterns. According to the present invention, performance is improved by applying a vehicle pattern histogram to a previously developed recognizer or a classifier, and objects which are similar to a vehicle object are detected rapidly.</p> |
