The present has a purpose of providing MEA for a fuel cell, which prevents water in a electrolyte membrane from spreading and being discharged. Disclosed is MEA for a fuel cell which comprises an electrode body including an anode, a cathode, and an electrolyte membrane; an anode subgasket and cathode subgasket surrounding the edge of the anode and cathode respectively; and a contact body including polar contact part and non-polar contact part by attaching the anode subgasket and the cathode subgasket to each other on the edge of the electrolyte membrane.
