A depilatory device control method, in which a depilatory device is provided, and the depilatory device removes body hairs by using a heated electric heating wire, comprises the following steps: S11, starting a power source of the depilatory device to enable the depilatory device to enter a standby state; S12, placing a heating head (1071) on a skin area to be depilated, the depilatory device comprising the heating head (1071) and the electric heating wire (1063) being fastened to the heating head (1071); and S13, powering on the electric heating wire (1063) of the depilatory device when depilation is required, to heat the electric heating wire at constant temperature to perform depilation. A depilatory device control method and a depilatory device are provided, which achieve a better depilatory effect and are more humanized. |
