PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce materials to be used for a rotary electric machine in comparison with the prior arts. ! SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine with the number M of phases is formed by accommodating a rotor and a stator 15 in a case 11A, and the stator 15 is formed by winding coils 32 around a plurality of teeth 25 disposed radially. In the stator 15, a plurality of small cores 24A are disposed at fixed angle intervals in a circumferential direction, each small core 24A including a predetermined number of teeth 25 and a core back 26 connecting bases of the teeth 25, and a gap portion 27 is provided between the small cores 24A. The plurality of small cores 24A are integrated by an annular insulation member 28 connecting coil bobbin parts 29 relating to the respective teeth 25 via connection parts 30, and the core back 26 is fixed to the case 11A by fixing means 35. !
