<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination device capable of supplying predetermined power to a light source with a suppressed power loss due to wiring, even in a case a lighting device and the light source are arranged apart.SOLUTION: When a PWM output of a lighting device 30 is large, a PWM repetition frequency is set relatively small, whereas when a PWM output is small, a PWM repetition frequency is set relatively large. By suppressing a power loss caused by parasitic capacitance and a parasitic inductor due to wiring, a capacitance increase in circuit components including a switching element 35, wiring, etc. can be suppressed. Because of a long lighting time even if the repetition frequency is reduced, a problem of flickering in a light source 51 can be eliminated or reduced.</p> |
