PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the encoding efficiency of images hierarchized based on each color gamut.SOLUTION: A color gamut conversion section converts a color gamut of a decoded image in a base layer into a color gamut in an enhancement layer. An adaptive offset section performs a filter processing on a predetermined bandwidth of the decoded image in the base layer after color gamut conversion. An addition section decodes the encoded image in the enhancement layer by using the decoded image in the base layer after the filter processing to generate a decoded image in the enhancement layer. The invention is applicable to, for example, a decoder. |
