<p> A lamp unit (10), which constitutes a vehicle headlamp, is provided with: a projection lens (26); a light source (12) disposed at the focal point (F), or the vicinity thereof, of the projection lens; a diffusion reflector (22) disposed between the projection lens (26) and the focal point (F) of the projection lens, the diffusion reflector (22) having a reflection surface (22a) for diffusing light emitted from the light source (12); and a movable shade (18) capable of blocking at least some of the light emitted from the light source, the movable shade (18) being disposed between the diffusion reflector (22) and the light source (12) at the focal point, or the vicinity thereof, of the projection lens.</p> |
