PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-microbial composition that protects woods and wood products, in a small use amount, from a wide range of fungi including not only mold fungi but also discoloration fungi and basidiomycetes.SOLUTION: The problem is solved by a wood anti-microbial composition containing, as essential components, 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one and/or a metal complex salt thereof, 3-iodo-2-propynyl butyl carbamate, and one or more isothiazolone compounds represented by general formula (I) (except 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one) or one or more compounds selected from benzimidazole compounds. (In the formula, R is an alkyl group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms, X, Y are the same or different, represent a hydrogen or halogen, or may be bonded to each other to form an aromatic ring.) |
