<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information apparatus capable of determining whether or not a connection cable with a proper connection pin is connected by a simple composition. <P>SOLUTION: The information apparatus is provided with a jack inputting a plurality of output signals generated by an output signal generating means, and outputting a plurality of output signals by one connection pin, an insertion detecting means for detecting insertion of the connection pin into the jack, an alternating current reference signal output means for outputting an alternating current reference signal which is a referential alternating current signal as a particular signal of the plurality of signals when it is detected that the connection pin is inserted into the jack by the insertion detecting means, an alternating current reference signal detecting means for detecting whether or not the alternating current reference signal is being outputted as the particular signal in a precedent stage of the jack, and a notifying means for notifying a user that the connection pin is not proper when the alternating current reference signal can not be detected by the alternating current reference signal detecting means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
