<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance dehydration efficiency by evenly dispersing an inorganic flocculant in sludge in dehydrating the sludge by adding a polymeric flocculant and the inorganic flocculant as a dehydration aid. <P>SOLUTION: The centrifugal separator includes a rotation bowl with a hollow cylindrical part for separating the sludge into dehydration sludge and a separation liquid by the action of centrifugal force, a screw conveyor arranged in the rotation bowl and rotating with a relative differential speed to the rotation bowl, a means for supplying the sludge in the rotation bowl, a first flocculant adding means for adding a first flocculant to the sludge supplied in the rotation bowl, and a second flocculant adding means for adding a second flocculant to the sludge transferred by the screw conveyor toward an outlet of the dehydration sludge formed in the rotation bowl. The second flocculant adding means includes an adding member, a part or the entire of which is immersed in the sludge in the rotation bowl, and a discharge port of the second flocculant is arranged at a position immersed in the sludge. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
