PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of an end plate or eliminate the end plate by a simple configuration while preventing opening to the axial outer side of magnetic steel sheets, in a rotor for a rotating electric machine. SOLUTION: A rotor core 12 is formed by laminating a large number of magnetic steel sheets axially. A tongue-shaped anchor part 40 is axially protruded in the vicinity of the outer periphery of a magnetic steel sheet 131 located on the axial outer side. The anchor part 40 is disposed within a resin injection hole 34 bored from an axial end face 13a of the rotor core 12 toward inside of the core, and is embedded in a resin 38 injected and solidified inside the resin injection hole 34.
