<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a golfer of such a swing speed to increase a carry by improving aerodynamic efficiency of a golf ball, more particularly, allow a golfer possessing a very high swing speed such as those who can launch the ball at an initial speed greater than 160 miles per hour (257 km/h), more specifically at an initial ball speed of about 180 miles per hour (290 km/h) or higher to increase a carry. <P>SOLUTION: The golf ball of the present invention combines lower dimple count with multiple dimple sizes to provide higher dimple coverage and improved aerodynamic characteristics. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
