Provided are a method and a device for distributing event information by an event information management server to notify the event information considering a geological relationship and a social relationship. The method of the present invention comprises the steps of: receiving and storing reception target event designation information including social network service (SNS) account information of a receiver, SNS service relationship requirements between a provider and a receiver of a reception target event, and reception target event attribute requirements; registering an event item according to an event registration request in an event database by receiving the event registration request including the event attribute information and SNS account information of the event provider; searching for reception target designation information of each event item of which event attribute information meets the reception target event attribute requirements and a relationship between an SNS service account of the event provider and an SNS service account of the receiver meets the SNS service relationship requirements; and transmitting information about the event item to a receiver terminal of the searched reception target designation information. |
