<p>PURPOSE: A display device and a control method thereof for including a speaker of a sliding-type are provided to drive or stop the drive of the corresponding speaker in abnormal operation by sensing the location of a speaker. CONSTITUTION: A speaker driver(110) ejects a speaker to the outside of a display device. The speaker driver inserts the drawn speaker to the inside of the display device. A location sensor(130) senses the location of the speaker. A controller(140) controls the withdrawal of the speaker. The controller controls the driving direction of the speaker.</p> |
