COIN DISPENSER WITH AUTO-LATCHING COIN CANISTER

A system for dispensing coins includes a controller (34, 38) electrically connected to a coin dispenser (1). The dispenser (1) includes a coin canister (2) and a latch that locks the canister (2) to the dispenser (1). The controller (34, 38) can send an electrical signal that unlocks the canister (2).
