PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can prevent, when receiving an instruction to perform polling reception or pull-print processing from an external terminal located at a position distant from the apparatus, the leakage of information caused by the peeping or carrying-away of a print without requiring a user to consciously perform operation.SOLUTION: When an operation unit installed in an image forming apparatus receives a first instruction to acquire an image from an external device and print the image, the image forming apparatus acquires the image from the external device according to the first instruction and prints the acquired image. When a communication unit receives the first instruction, the image forming apparatus acquires the image from the external device and then stores the acquired image in a storage unit, but does not print the acquired image. |
