摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical heat storage device enabling joining by welding and prevention of decline in pressure resistance even when the thickness of piping constituting an outer peripheral portion of a heating object is reduced.SOLUTION: A chemical heat storage device for heating a heating object (DOC 4) disposed within piping from the outer peripheral portion includes: a reactor 9 having a reaction material 9a for generating heat through chemical reaction with a reaction medium; and an adsorber connected to the reactor 9 to adsorb the reaction medium by using an adsorbent for storage. The outer peripheral portion of the heating object comprises piping 13. The reaction material 9a is arranged in the outer peripheral surface of the piping 13, and fitting portions 14f, 15f are inserted into ends of the piping 13. Ends of the piping 13 at portions into which the fitting portions 14f, 15f are inserted are joined by welding W, W. The thickness of the piping 13 is made thinner than that of the fitting portions 14f, 15f.
