PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator capable of exactly correcting a scale error by removing an influence of acceleration of a support.SOLUTION: An elevator comprises: acceleration detection means 53 for detecting acceleration of a body frame 39 which supports an upper car 36 and a lower car 37; an electric motor 49 for adjustment between cars for adjusting an interval between the cars; a scale device 43 for the upper car, which detects load weight in the upper car 36; a scale device 47 for the lower car, which detects load weight in the lower car 37; load torque calculation means 20 for calculating load torque to be generated in the electric motor 49 for adjustment between cars based on the load weight; speed control means 14 for outputting a torque command for driving the electric motor 49 for adjustment between cars at target rotational speed; scale error detection means 22 for detecting scale error torque generated by the scale error based on the torque command and the acceleration; and scale error correction means 28 for correcting the load torque based on the scale error torque. |
