<p>The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition containing an extract of Lagerstroemia indica as an active ingredient, which is characterized by containing 0.001-30.0 wt% of an extract of Lagerstroemia indica as an active ingredient for the total weight of the cosmetic composition. According to the present invention, the extract of Lagerstroemia indica has an anti-oxidation effect, a MMP-1 production inhibiting effect, a collagen biosynthesis effect, a melanogenesis inhibiting effect, an antiseptic effect, and a moisturizing effect to provide various kinds of functional cosmetics.</p> |
