PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device capable of suppressing propagation of light in a transverse direction, and reducing the size while keeping light extraction efficiency.SOLUTION: A light source device in FIG. 1 includes: a semiconductor laser element 10; a wavelength conversion member 30 which converts the wavelength of light from the semiconductor laser element 10; and a lens 40 which controls the light from the wavelength conversion member 30. The wavelength conversion member 30 has a plurality of phosphor particles 31, a plurality of hollow bodies 32 which have a translucent member 32a in the outer sell and have a hollow region 32b in the inside, and a holding body 33 which holds the plurality of phosphor particles 31 and the plurality of hollow bodies 32. |
