<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk drive device capable of solving a technical problem accompanying a thinner design, and achieving more increase of a recording capacity.SOLUTION: A disk drive device comprises: a chassis; a hub facing the chassis in an axial direction; and a fluid bearing unit for supporting the hub rotatably relative to the chassis. The hub comprises: a disk part which has a disk-shape extending in a radial direction outward relatively to a central axis of the fluid bearing unit; and an annular part which is a ring extending from an outer peripheral part of the disk part toward the chassis in the axial direction. On one of contact surfaces between the disk part and the annular part, a step part extending in a radial direction is provided, and on the another of the contact surfaces, a contact part which contacts to the step part by surface contact, is provided.</p> |
