<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce periodic detection errors in an angle detector.SOLUTION: An annular planar coil formed on the surface of a sensor stator includes: a first detection coil 51; a second detection coil 52 arranged with 90 degree phase shift in an electrical angle with respect to the coil 51; a third detection coil 53 arranged with 180 degree phase shift in an electrical angle with respect to the coil 51; and a fourth detection coil 54 arranged with 270 degree phase shift in an electrical angle with respect to the coil 51. The first and third detection coils 51 and 53 overlap, and electromotive forces opposite to each other are generated. The second and fourth detection coils 52 and 54 overlap, and electromotive forces opposite to each other are generated. A first arithmetic circuit 61 operates a first detection angleθ1 based on output of the first and second detection coils 51 and 52, a second arithmetic circuit 62 operates a second detection angleθ2 based on the third and fourth detection coils 53 and 54, and a final arithmetic circuit 63 operates a final detection angleθaccording to an average of the detection anglesθ1 andθ2.</p> |
