PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that when a paste remaining on the surface of a print item comes into contact with a through hole formed in the print item, the paste filled in the through hole transfers to a mask film and is removed from the through hole when the mask film is peeled off and the volume of the paste filled in the through hole is reduced causing a large harmful effect on the electrical connection via the paste filled in the through hole.SOLUTION: In a paste filling method in which through holes are filled with a paste by printing the paste on the surface of a print item by moving a squeegee, termination of paste filling operation is determined by detecting the paste remaining on the surface of the print item after the squeegee moves.
