SPECIFIC SCAR MARKER FOR DISCRIMINATING NOVEL KOREAN ZOYSIA JAPONICA 'JANGSEONGCHOROK' AND USES THEREOF

The present invention relates to a specific sequence characterized amplified region (SCAR) marker for distinguishing a novel Korean Zoysia japonica (jangseongchorok) and a use thereof wherein the SCAR mark is used for efficiently identifying and protecting the type of novel Korean Zoysia japonica and for testing purity of a first hybrid Zoysia japonica. In addition, the SCAR mark is applied to the molecular breeding study and Zoysia japonica breeding industry of the Korean Zoysia japonica (jangseongchorok) which grows and covers the ground quickly while having high density.
