The present invention provides a method for manufacturing an organic electroluminescent device, capable of preventing defects due to foreign materials. The method includes the steps of: forming a first electrode on each pixel region of a substrate on which a display region with a plurality of pixel regions is defined; forming a vacuum sealing substrate by closely attaching a thermal transfer film to the substrate and bonding the thermal transfer film to the buffer film on the outside of the substrate by thermal pressurization under a vacuum atmosphere at the same time after the buffer film with a heterogeneous material particle which dose not react to UV rays and has a uniform distribution on a thermoplastic polymer material layer is located on the lower side of the substrate on which the first electrode is formed and the thermal transfer film which includes a transfer material layer which is made of an organic light emitting material is located on the upper side of the substrate; emitting laser beams on the upper side of the thermal transfer film with regard to the vacuum sealing substrate; forming an organic light emitting layer on the substrate by detaching the thermal transfer film from the buffer film and the substrate using a detaching device on the vacuum sealing substrate to which the laser beams are emitted; and forming a second electrode on the front side of the display region on the organic light emitting layer. |
