The present invention relates to a main circuit switch box and a method of inspecting a high-voltage device using the same, and more specifically, to a main circuit switch box having a safety function, which includes two or more safety devices in a cover of the main circuit switch box and inside thereof to prevent an inspector from making a mistake during inspection of the high-voltage device and safety accidents such as an electric shock, which can occur when another inspector lifts up a pantograph, and to a method of inspecting a high-voltage device using the main circuit switch box. The main circuit switch box comprises: a main circuit switch configured for connecting or shutting off a high voltage, and an interlock interlocked with the main circuit switch to turn the main circuit switch on or off. The main circuit switch box further comprises: a first safety device which is operable only when a shut-off valve of the pantograph is turned off and configured to be able to open or close a cover of the main circuit switch box; a second safety box which is operable when the main circuit switch is moved to a grounding position; and a third safety device which is formed at one side of the second safety device and can be operated by the second safety device.
