A boot device 10 for use in a seat belt assembly comprises a body defining supporting means, such as cavities or pockets 22, for receiving and supporting a first seat belt buckle (12, not shown) and a second seat belt buckle in a predetermined spaced relationship, so that the buckles are presented rigidly to the user, the webbing straps do not become entangled and is easier to use. Also provided is a seat belt buckle assembly with a webbing strap that is bifurcated for use with such a device. |
