<p>The present invention provides an air conditioning system for a vehicle. The air conditioning system for a vehicle includes: a compressor, an outdoor heat exchanger, an evaporator, a first expansion valve, a second expansion valve, a direction switching valve provided on a refrigerant circulating line, and configured to switch a flow direction of a refrigerant to supply the refrigerant, which is discharged to the outdoor heat exchanger, to the first expansion valve in a cooling mode and to supply the refrigerant, which is discharged to the outdoor heat exchanger, to the compressor so as to use a heat pump system in a heating mode; a heat source unit connected to a coolant line where a coolant included in an engine is circulated to supply a heat source to the coolant in response to operating the engine; and a control unit. The heat source unit includes: a heat supply line; a water pump provided on the heat supply line; a coolant/refrigerant heat exchanger configured to perform heat exchange between the coolant flowing through the heat supply line and the refrigerant flowing through the refrigerant circulating line to supply a heat source to the coolant; and a change valve configured to change a flow of the coolant flowing in or out of the engine such that the heat supply line can be a closed circuit. Therefore, the conditioning system for a vehicle may supply a heat source for heating in place of the engine to minimize the use thereof, thereby minimizing fuel consumption, and may improve the overall efficiency of the vehicle by suppressing the use of the engine for heating.</p> |
