PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten processing waiting time of a user and to avoid troublesome setting by the user due to processing sharing, by sharing an image processing with a scanner device or an image processing device connected to a network in accordance with a load situation and image processing performance in the scanner device.SOLUTION: A controller 42 inquires about whether the image processing on read image data can be executed in the scanner device 10, via a communication section 25A. When the result shows that a processing which has been set cannot be executed by the scanner device 10, an argument of a scan execution command is determined on the basis of a setting value and a content of a device performance storing section 43, and the image data and a metadata file 51 are received from the scanner device 10. An image processing section 44 executes the processing which cannot be executed, on the image data. When the metadata file 51 shows that a requested processing is omitted, the omitted processing and the processing which cannot be executed in the scanner device are executed in the image processing section 44. |
