1. A system for aligning a genome sequence, comprising:
a seed generation unit configured to generate a plurality of seeds from an input read to provide generated seeds; a filtering unit configured to map the generated seeds to a reference sequence to provide mapped seeds, and to select from the mapped seeds target seeds for a global alignment operation, in consideration of gaps between the mapped seeds; and an alignment unit configured to perform the global alignment operation of the input read, with the reference sequence, in mapping positions in which the target seeds are mapped to the reference sequence wherein one or more of the seed generation unit, the filtering unit, and the alignment unit is implemented using a hardware processor. |
