<p>An intraocular device (10) has anterior and posterior faces (12, 14). Haptics (16) extend from the intraocular device (10), each of the haptics (16) including a slender loop element (18) with a proximal end attached to the intraocular device (10). The slender loop element (18) has a length, width and thickness, the length following a curved path and the width being generally parallel to a central anterior-posterior axis (22) of the intraocular device (10). A distal hook portion (24) extends from a distal end of the slender loop element (18). The distal hook portion (24) includes an anterior edge (26) tilted towards the central anterior-posterior axis (22) of the intraocular device (10).</p> |
