Provided is a coating-film transfer tool with which there is little meandering of a transfer head with respect to the object to be coated. This coating-film transfer tool is for transferring to an object to be coated a coating film of a transfer tape on which the coating film is disposed on a substrate tape, and the coating-film transfer tool is provided with the following: a feed-out section for feeding out the transfer tape; a transfer head for transferring the coating film to the object to coated by pressing the transfer tape against the object to be coated; and a take-up section for taking up the substrate tape after transferring is finished. The transfer head has a transfer pressing section for pressing the transfer tape against the object to be coated; and a pair of tape regulating members for regulating the movement of the transfer tape in the width direction. The pair of tape regulating members have a prevention mechanism for preventing the distance between the pair of tape regulating members from expanding. The pair of tape regulating members elastically deform, and together with the transfer pressing section, press against the object to be coated.
