The present invention relates to a cap insertion device for inserting a cap that secures a pedicle screw to a steel rod, the device comprising a tip part having a shape corresponding to a polygonal insertion hole formed in the inner circumference of the cap, and a handle part extending from the tip part, and, here, a gap having a predetermined clearance width is formed in the direction of extension of the handle part across the diameter in the centre of the tip part. In this way, the clearance of an insertion portion can be minimised so as to prevent the cap from detaching and coming off unintentionally.
