<p>The present invention relates to a method for evaluating the cosmetic effects of a cosmetic product on the skin by determining multi-dimensional vectors from the diffuse reflection spectrum at the surfaces of the reference and the object skin before and after the application, and comparing any indices of relative spectral lengths of the object skin, spectral angles and an entropy after the application of the cosmetic product to the indices before the application of the cosmetic product. The method according to the present invention can evaluate the cosmetic effects of a cosmetic product on the skin with high precision and accuracy, and provide new indices directly linked to customer perception.</p>
