The present invention relates to a supporting apparatus for getting on and off a vehicle and a method thereof. The present invention acquires external image information of a car, and identifies an external object through the image information when the car stops and a user touch input is acquired. The present invention checks whether the external object is alive or not when the external object is stationary. The present invention outputs image information and sound information, carries out a door-lock function, and outputs sound to the outside of the car when the external object is confirmed to be alive. When there is no external object, the door-lock function is released and an announcement for getting off is output. |
